This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Convert in-depth customer insights into significant partnership opportunities within the clinical diagnostics and reference lab sectors, providing value to both our clients and Thermo Fisher.
• Direct the Account Management Teams (AMTs) in formulating comprehensive account strategies, showcasing our extensive capabilities to deliver impactful, innovative, science-driven, and customer-focused solutions.
• Establish credible and influential relationships with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders, facilitating access for our divisional colleagues to customers.
• Actively collaborate with executive sponsors of partnerships and members of the Thermo Fisher Leadership Team to enhance customer value creation.
• Serve as the primary liaison between our strategic partners and Thermo Fisher, overseeing governance activities, identifying new needs and opportunities, and assisting in the resolution of critical healthcare issues.
• Negotiate complex and substantial deal structures that incorporate healthcare compliance considerations.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team while nurturing an inclusive and transparent work environment that embodies our 4i values.
• Foster a leadership culture that emphasizes the development of people and sustains high team morale.
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, preferably in a scientific discipline such as chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering.
• An MBA or equivalent professional business education is highly preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in a senior-level account management or business development role within clinical diagnostics, reference labs, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or laboratory supply industries.
• Demonstrated success in effective leadership and people management.
• Extensive experience in a matrix environment and facilitating alignment around a shared vision.
• Strong business acumen and financial skills, including knowledge of P&L drivers, dynamics, and trade-offs.
• Genuine passion for fostering an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative team culture.
• Positive attitude and resilience in adapting to changing business conditions.
• Willingness to spend substantial time on-site at global customer locations.
• Experience engaging with large clinical reference laboratories is highly preferred.
