This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement operational strategies for FP&A across multiple business units.
• Standardize procedures, optimize workflows, enhance reporting consistency, and boost enterprise efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
• Evaluate FP&A processes throughout all business units to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for standardization.
• Organize recurring meetings to share processes and align teams on best practices.
• Generate recommendations, templates, and standard operating procedures.
• Improve the structure and processes of budgetary reporting.
• Lead the execution of process enhancements and monitor their adoption.
• Manage strategic and ad hoc projects, including financial modeling, system evaluations, and cross-functional analyses.
• Oversee initiatives that coordinate finance teams from various business units, along with corporate accounting and corporate FP&A.
• Assist in and eventually take ownership of the monthly consolidation of financial results, forecasts, budgets, and variance commentary.
• Ensure uniform templates, definitions, and terminology across submissions from business units.
• Address data and template discrepancies prior to executive reporting.
• Prepare updates for investors, materials for quarterly business reviews, and financial communications for the CFO and VP of FP&A.
• Convert business unit data into executive-level financial narratives.
• Aid in Board-level presentations and organize business unit contributions ahead of Board meetings.
• Compile lender reporting packages and materials for covenant compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc lender inquiries and analyses.
• Establish relationships with FP&A leaders across Corporate, Payer, Provider, Insights, and Pharmacy sectors.
• Encourage the adoption of standardized processes without relying on formal authority.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, mission statement, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar area is required.
• At least 8 years of demonstrated management experience is required.
• Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to process improvement initiatives and facilitating change across teams is required.
• A solid understanding of accounting and finance practices and principles is essential.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, financial reports, pricing, and operational issues is required.
• Previous exposure to Board, investor, or lender reporting is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting software, particularly general ledger systems, is necessary.
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion SmartView is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required.
• Capacity to distill complex data into clear and concise narratives is necessary.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and effectively manage multiple competing priorities independently is essential.
• Strong leadership presence with the capability to present to and influence executive decision-makers is necessary.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business needs are required.
• Ability to influence staff across diverse functional areas is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend company products and processes are required.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision is necessary.
• Proficiency in managing multiple high-priority deadlines efficiently is required.
