This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Oversee the delivery, optimization, and ongoing development of Avid’s core finance technology ecosystem.
• Act as the main technology leader for NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB).
• Manage a team comprising approximately 2–3 full-time employees and contingent workers.
• Implement a multi-year Finance Systems vision and roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals.
• Convert Finance process requirements into effective, scalable technology solutions.
• Promote continuous improvement, simplification, and modernization throughout the finance application portfolio.
• Supervise the design, development, and implementation of enhancements across NetSuite ERP, NSPB, RevPro, Concur, Salesforce, Snowflake, and other enterprise systems.
• Establish and uphold SDLC practices to ensure reliable, high-quality delivery.
• Strategically plan, prioritize, and fulfill roadmap commitments while balancing long-term initiatives with quick wins.
• Ensure system configurations, workflows, and integrations facilitate accurate reporting, forecasting, and financial operations.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Finance Operations to enhance system utilization and automation.
• Define and refine finance data flows between NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake, and other platforms.
• Lead, develop, enhance skills, and recruit talent for the Finance Systems team.
• Partner with Finance, Business Applications, Data & Analytics, Technology and Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Product teams.
• Maintain transparency regarding progress, risks, and trade-offs through effective communication and reporting.
• Support reliability, performance, security, governance, data integrity, auditability, and compliance across finance platforms.
• Manage key relationships with vendors and third-party partners.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience with enterprise finance systems, business applications, or related functions.
• At least 5 years of experience in people management, including leading technical or engineering teams.
• Expert-level proficiency with NetSuite ERP and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB).
• Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM and Billing) and its integration with finance systems.
• Working knowledge of modern SDLC practices and agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience integrating NetSuite with Salesforce, Snowflake, or another cloud data warehouse, as well as middleware or iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi).
• Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives or significant programs of work.
• Experience in supporting audit, SOX controls, or financial compliance initiatives.
• Background in SaaS, technology, or digitally driven businesses.
• Extensive technical and functional knowledge in finance processes, reporting, and planning.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver strategic outcomes along with practical near-term results.
• Effective people leadership and talent development experience.
• Proven track record in facilitating and leading cross-functional prioritization discussions.
• History of delivering committed roadmaps with both quality and predictability.
