This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic financial advisor to the executive leadership team, offering CFO-level insights on performance, priorities, growth, risk, and sustainability.
• Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements that comply with GAAP standards, both internal and external.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, long-term plans, rolling forecasts, and financial models.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, productivity, and service line performance; identify trends, risks, opportunities, and corrective measures.
• Supervise cash flow management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, debt obligations, working capital, and investment performance.
• Provide advice on capital allocation and significant financial commitments; create business cases, ROI analyses, sensitivity analyses, and projections.
• Evaluate and enhance financial systems, reporting tools, accounting processes, and internal controls.
• Offer executive oversight of the general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Manage reimbursement and payer-related issues, including Medicare, Medicaid, cost reporting, reimbursement analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to enhance financial literacy, metrics, and budget accountability.
• Lead or coordinate annual audits and external reviews; serve as a liaison with auditors, actuaries, tax advisors, banks, consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax reporting requirements.
• Review and update financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, forecasts, and recommendations for executives and boards.
• Provide financial due diligence and integration support for acquisitions, affiliations, new service lines, restructuring, and strategic transactions.
• Mentor and develop finance leaders and staff while recommending organizational or staffing adjustments.
• Support turnaround, stabilization, cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound professional judgment regarding sensitive information.
• Execute other CFO-level financial consulting and strategic tasks as requested.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• A master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or other advanced financial certifications are preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including roles such as senior finance, controller, VP Finance, or CFO-level responsibilities.
• Experience in healthcare finance is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to counsel executive teams and boards, direct financial strategy, manage intricate financial operations, and communicate financial information as clear business recommendations.
• Executive-level financial acumen.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, internal controls, audit coordination, and financial analysis.
• Ability to articulate complex financial data clearly to executives, board members, operational leaders, and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to identify financial risks and devise practical, sustainable solutions.
• Skill in influencing and advising leaders while maintaining an objective, consultative approach.
• Strong project management abilities and a talent for prioritizing competing initiatives and meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, service excellence, and ethical financial practices.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.

• Availability to work required hours to complete critical projects, reporting, audits, and executive deliverables.
