• Establish the strategic framework for training across ACI's four operational divisions and specialty portfolio, ensuring alignment of learning priorities with the company's sales, patient experience, and net income objectives.
• Lead and cultivate a team of 30 field trainers and facilitators, focusing on performance management, capacity planning, and career growth; enhance the training staff for transformation projects.
• Collaborate with the People team to innovate ACI's training approach — transitioning from predominantly in-person/field training to a blended model featuring digital, on-demand, and AI-enhanced content creation and delivery.
• Work alongside the People Team in the selection and implementation of a learning management system (LMS) or digital training platform; the current HR platform (Dayforce) does not fulfill the organization's training requirements.
• Utilize AI technologies to expedite instructional design and content creation for operational programming, allowing quicker implementation of new programs, compliance updates, and operational initiatives.
• Team up with the People Team to create a scalable content framework that facilitates rapid and consistent training deployment across a network of nearly 400 practices.
• Collaborate with Operations, Clinical, HR, and divisional leaders to convert special projects and strategic initiatives into training curricula, implementation, and sustainment plans.
• Develop measurement frameworks to assess training effectiveness, adoption, and business impact (e.g., time-to-competency, field engagement, initiative rollout speed).
• Oversee the training organization's budget and vendor relationships, including those with LMS/content-platform providers.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Organizational Development, including a minimum of 3 years leading teams of multiple individuals (15+ preferred).
• Proven track record in modernizing a training function — developing or transitioning to digital/blended learning models from a traditional, in-person-focused approach.
• Direct experience in selecting, implementing, or managing a learning management system (LMS) or digital training platform.
• Practical experience with AI tools (e.g., generative AI for content creation, authoring tools with AI capabilities) to enhance instructional design and content development.
• Experience in designing training programs for large, distributed, or multi-site field organizations.
• Strong program and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent initiatives within strict deadlines.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills; adept at operating at both strategic and practical levels.
