📋 Description

• Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and north star metrics throughout the organization.

• Create standardized measurement frameworks for significant initiatives such as growth, retention, products, and channels.

• Collaborate with leadership to convert business objectives into clear success metrics, safeguarding measures, and alignment with OKRs.

• Ensure that all major initiatives are guided by well-defined success metrics, KPI frameworks, and measurement strategies before execution.

• Implement and uphold enterprise metric governance, encompassing ownership, definitions, and change management processes.

• Establish clear accountability for metric accuracy across teams and systems.

• Act as the primary authority on metric definitions and measurement standards within the organization.

• Guarantee consistent utilization of metric definitions in reporting, planning, and decision-making processes.

• Design measurement outputs geared toward decision-making rather than mere visibility.

• Develop KPI trees and diagnostic frameworks that facilitate root-cause analysis and actionable insights.

• Convert performance data into clear narratives, trade-offs, and recommendations for leadership.

• Minimize reliance on custom analyses through the creation of reusable frameworks and standardized logic.

• Work closely with Data Engineering leadership to ensure alignment of measurement frameworks with data architecture and platform capabilities.

• Ensure measurement frameworks are integrated into core data models and systems.

• Transition the organization from a dashboard-centric reporting approach to a more agile, dynamic insight delivery method.

• Collaborate on adopting modern technologies (AI, automation, self-serve interfaces) to enhance the speed and accessibility of insights.

• Clearly define and prioritize measurement use cases to inform technology investments.

• Introduce self-service measurement experiences to reduce dependence on analyst-driven processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in analytics, measurement, or data strategy roles, with a trajectory towards senior leadership.

• A background in eCommerce is essential; experience in D2C, subscription, or multi-channel businesses (eCommerce, Amazon, retail, B2B) is preferred.

• Proficient in modern analytics ecosystems, including BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI), marketing and product analytics platforms (e.g., CDPs, attribution, experimentation), and emerging capabilities (automation, self-service, AI), focusing on moving beyond dashboard-centric reporting.

• Over 6 years of experience in people management, including hiring, coaching, and succession planning.

• Strategic and systems-oriented, capable of linking business objectives to measurement design.

• Proven track record in establishing measurement frameworks and governance in non-standardized environments.

• Demonstrated ability to promote adoption and enforce standards across cross-functional teams.

• Experienced in analytics, measurement, or data strategy within a high-growth setting.

• Strong executive communicator skilled in simplifying complex concepts into clear actions.

• Proven capability to influence senior stakeholders and foster alignment.

• Expertise in KPI design, experimentation, and performance diagnostics.

• Experience in implementing modern analytics capabilities that enhance the speed and accessibility of insights.

• Comfortable establishing structure in ambiguous situations.

• Preferred marketing measurement expertise (attribution, incrementality, CAC/LTV).

• Experience with AOP, OKRs, and long-range planning is preferred.
