• Oversee the implementation of a diverse energy development portfolio with multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and reliability objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of Project Managers and Coordinators.
• Develop and enforce standardized project management protocols, governance, and reporting mechanisms throughout the portfolio.
• Take ownership of portfolio-wide schedule integration, budget oversight, and risk management strategies.
• Foster collaboration across Transmission & Interconnection, Energy Infrastructure, and Commercial teams.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for intricate execution issues and interdepartmental conflicts.
• Spearhead the identification, prioritization, and mitigation of risks and critical path constraints across the portfolio.
• Deliver executive-level updates on project performance, significant risks, and necessary decisions.
• Allocate resources flexibly among projects according to risk, complexity, and strategic significance.
• Assist in shaping development strategy by assessing trade-offs involving cost, schedule, infrastructure, and commercial factors.
• Promote ongoing enhancements of tools, processes, and performance indicators to improve execution efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience in energy project development, infrastructure delivery, or large-scale capital project management.
• Strong expertise in the development and execution of renewable (solar, wind, storage) and/or conventional generation and large load projects.
• Proven track record in managing complex portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of project controls, including integrated scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the energy project lifecycle, encompassing interconnection, infrastructure, and commercial integration.
• Demonstrated capacity to operate at both strategic and operational levels, influencing decisions at the executive level.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to function effectively in fast-paced, highly uncertain environments while upholding execution rigor.
