This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Taking ownership and implementing the comprehensive commercial strategy for the Education vertical throughout North America.
• Accelerating revenue growth, developing pipelines, and executing deals across designated Education segments.
• Leading, mentoring, and nurturing a team of over 12 direct and indirect reports to achieve consistent performance.
• Acting as the primary internal leader and external representative for HID in Education markets.
• Collaborating across functions to provide scalable PACS, Mercury-based, and mobile-enabled access solutions.
• Establishing priorities, segmentation, and go-to-market focus for the Education vertical in alignment with HID PACS and Mercury platforms.
• Serving as the senior internal voice for Education markets, offering insights into customer requirements, purchasing behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
• Ensuring HID solutions are scalable for enterprise, multi-site, and global education settings.
• Leading and developing Directors, Senior Business Development Managers, and Business Development Managers.
• Setting performance expectations, KPIs, and individual development plans to foster accountability and growth.
• Collaborating with Sales leadership and HR on recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development.
• Promoting a collaborative, enterprise-focused selling culture across functions.
• Driving pipeline generation, opportunity advancement, and revenue achievement across Education verticals.
• Leading the strategy and implementation for mobile engagement adoption, promoting mobile credentials as an extension of traditional PACS and Mercury systems.
• Ensuring that commercial messaging emphasizes operational efficiency, security, scalability, and user experience.
• Directly assisting with large, complex enterprise opportunities and engaging with executive stakeholders as necessary.
• Working with Marketing on Education-specific messaging, thought leadership, and demand generation initiatives.
• Collaborating with Product and Technology teams to shape roadmaps that support extensive education deployments.
• Enhancing relationships with consultants, system integrators, and strategic technology partners.
• Representing HID at industry events, customer briefings, and strategic partner meetings.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in physical security, access control, or enterprise security solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience in people management.
• Demonstrable experience in leading and scaling large, high-performing teams (12+ individuals).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise PACS environments, including traditional access control and Mercury-based architectures.
• Proven track record of driving complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles.
• Executive-level communication abilities with the capacity to engage CIOs, CISOs, Facilities, Operations, and line-of-business leaders.
• Willingness and capability to travel extensively across North America.
• An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience selling in the Education verticals (K-12, Higher Education, or large campus environments).
• Familiarity with mobile credentials, digital identity, or cloud-enabled access strategies.
• Proven experience in influencing product or technology roadmaps.
