Senior Director, Ecosystem Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take charge of Circle’s market intelligence, brand visibility, stakeholder involvement, and ecosystem development throughout South East Asia.

• Collect market intelligence in areas such as DeFi, crypto capital markets, payments, remittances, and institutional applications.

• Enhance Circle’s brand visibility within the region.

• Identify potential market participants and relevant ecosystem contacts.

• Address and document legitimate inbound partnership inquiries while ensuring jurisdictional compliance.

• Collaborate with Commercial and Business Development teams to share insights and relay inbound regional inquiries.

• Assist in compliant market engagement and regulatory outreach under the guidance of authorized personnel.

• Coordinate cross-functional execution involving Product, Solutions, Operations, Marketing, Policy, Legal, and Compliance teams.

• Monitor and report on market intelligence, regulatory changes, and stakeholder engagement activities to inform strategic and compliance oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 13 years of experience in business development, growth, market expansion, or general management.

• Proven track record of driving growth, revenue, or transaction volume in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial infrastructure sectors.

• Demonstrated capability to capture market share and foster ecosystem growth by converting customers from competing platforms or enhancing first movers.

• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on action, execution, and measurable results.

• Experience in collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Product, Policy, Legal, Compliance, and technical teams to finalize and scale complex partnerships.

• In-depth knowledge of crypto markets, stablecoins, DeFi, payments, remittances, or institutional financial flows.

• Experience working across multiple countries and navigating various market, regulatory, and ecosystem dynamics.

• Ability to operate independently in uncertain environments while remaining accountable for outcomes.

• Strong executive presence and capacity to engage credibly with senior commercial, policy, and regulatory stakeholders.

• Familiarity with generative AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini, including prompt development.

• Prior experience in high-growth fintech, blockchain, or payments companies operating in Southeast Asia is preferred.

• Proven ability to create operational frameworks and playbooks across multiple markets is preferred.

• Strong cultural intelligence and experience in leading diverse, distributed teams is preferred.

• Familiarity or experience with Slack, Apple macOS, and GSuite is preferred.
