This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the development and expansion of the national distribution network, ensuring optimal market results.
• Drive revenue and volume objectives through the enhancement of the direct store delivery network and engagement with distributors.
• Oversee national distributors in the natural channel, including UNFI and KeHE.
• Guide distributor management teams through customer transitions, brand execution, and growth in distribution.
• Manage the implementation of new distributors from the signing of contracts to the first shipments.
• Establish routines for reporting, communication, forecasting, and management.
• Set goals for the market, customers, channels, volume, and distribution.
• Define and carry out merchandising, displays, promotions, and in-store execution initiatives.
• Analyze market landscapes and lead successful distributor management and sales representative efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with distributor stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Recruit and train managers overseeing third-party distributors.
• Evaluate business performance and formulate corrective action plans.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and monthly executive business reviews.
• Develop annual distribution business plans, set national targets, allocate investments, and design organizational structure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Key Accounts and other functional leaders to enhance customer volume.
• Identify and establish distribution agreements for foodservice and specialty channels.
• Ensure effective product flow, reporting, communication routines, and alignment of the route-to-market strategy.
• Supervise direct reports.
• Travel as needed based on business requirements.
• Demonstrated success in distribution management, particularly in direct store delivery (DSD) within major markets.
• Proven experience in market development and execution within the beverage industry, especially in a high-growth early-to-mid stage company.
• Established people management experience, encompassing accountability, prioritization, problem-solving, onboarding, and performance management.
• Familiarity with syndicated data reporting platforms.
• Competence in developing annual business plans, overseeing budgets, and creating strategic priorities and initiatives.
• Experience in utilizing data to evaluate performance, develop scorecards, establish KPIs, and measure impact.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills.
• Strong verbal and presentation abilities.
