Senior Director, Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the customer deployment project execution for every sold deal at each QTS location.

• Collaborate with the QTS Property Development team and relevant specialty consultants to fulfill customer design requirements, pricing, approvals, and the implementation of specific deployment scopes.

• Manage the execution of these projects, ensuring alignment with clients’ goals, business processes, vendor management strategies, and cross-department collaboration within the QTS organization.

• Foster excellent client relationship management and effective cost control, aiming to deliver projects within the scheduled timeline and budget.

• Act as the primary point of contact for Federal sales support regarding potential secured deals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional licenses in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.

• At least ten years of increasing responsibility in the development of Mission Critical Facilities.

• A minimum of five years of experience in managing data center project construction, particularly with large-scale data centers or data center lease providers.

• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.

• US Citizenship is required for this role due to federal customer contracts.
