📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and enhance WellRight’s strategic plan to broaden business relations within the broker and benefit consultant sector.

• Spearhead business development initiatives aimed at Consultants in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.

• Engage in direct outreach to inform Consultants, showcase WellRight’s value proposition, strengthen the brand, and generate opportunities along with conversions.

• Monitor Consultant perspectives on wellbeing and relay pertinent trends to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.

• Grasp the needs and challenges faced by Consultants and create existing, new, or customized solutions accordingly.

• Gather product and market insights, including feature suggestions, market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities.

• Advocate for the Consultant community during WellRight strategic discussions.

• Facilitate connections between Regional Sales Managers and new broker relationships within territories.

• Identify influential broker and consulting firms, local offices, and leaders in healthcare, benefits, and wellbeing.

• Manage daily relationships with consulting-firm leadership.

• Serve as a WellRight ambassador among key firms and Consultants.

• Foster relationships between the WellRight sales team and prominent Consultants.

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on initiatives targeting Consultant outreach.

• Recognize and create opportunities to present WellRight during office meetings, conferences, and similar events.

• Establish success metrics for outreach initiatives.

• Analyze CRM and Consultant contact database information to devise outreach strategies.

• Build a Consultant pipeline aligned with annual goals.

• Develop processes to document Consultant engagements and activities within WellRight sales systems, producing a territory heat map.

• Coordinate company resources for building relationships with brokers and Consultants.

• Review proposals, RFP responses, and collateral aimed at Consultants to ensure consistent messaging.

• Support finalist meetings as a subject matter expert on WellRight strategy.

• Provide essential metrics to demonstrate progress and facilitate program evolution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in strategy, sales, benefit consulting, or a related field.

• Extensive understanding of wellbeing and benefit consulting.

• Established network of connections within the Consultant community, with a proven history of sales success in that sector.

• Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and translate it into operational execution, even in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.

• Proven project management capabilities, including the management of multiple complex, concurrent projects and defining metrics to evaluate results.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at articulating complex ideas clearly and fostering consensus while constructively addressing differing opinions.

• Proficient at building relationships, asking the right questions to understand stakeholder needs, and quickly establishing trust.

• Analytical thinker; comfortable utilizing data to measure outcomes, influence decisions, and challenge assumptions with facts.

• Proven sense of ownership, initiative, follow-through, and effective collaboration across functional teams.
