
Senior Director, Commercial Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary finance business partner to the Commercial leadership team, offering strategic financial advice and decision-making support.
• Oversee commercial financial planning activities, which encompass annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, long-term planning, and scenario analysis.
• Create and sustain revenue forecasts, demand models, and assumptions for commercial planning.
• Collaborate with Commercial Accounting on gross-to-net methodologies as well as the financial consequences of pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies.
• Evaluate commercial readiness, infrastructure, investment priorities, sales force sizing, territory planning, and resource optimization.
• Assist in product strategy, commercialization planning, and strategic initiatives through financial modeling, business case development, ROI analysis, competitive assessments, and evaluations of market opportunities.
• Design KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor launch readiness and commercial performance.
• Prepare analyses and presentations for Executive Leadership, Board meetings, and discussions related to strategic planning.
• Build and expand the commercial finance function, including processes, systems, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the broader FP&A organization to synchronize corporate planning activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance experience, including considerable FP&A and commercial finance leadership roles.
• Experience in supporting commercial organizations within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors.
• Experience in facilitating commercial readiness activities, product launches, revenue forecasting, and market access planning.
• Strong grasp of pharmaceutical commercialization, pricing, reimbursement, and gross-to-net forecasting.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
