This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Take ownership of the Amazon measurement strategy encompassing Sponsored Ads, Amazon DSP, and Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).
• Establish and implement Amazon-specific KPI hierarchies linked to business outcomes such as sales growth, market share, new-to-brand metrics, customer acquisition, and incrementality.
• Provide clear direction regarding the significance of attribution, Amazon Marketing Cloud analysis, and incrementality testing for optimization versus investment decisions.
• Act as the subject-matter expert in Amazon measurement, assisting the VP of Commerce Media in enhancing measurement rigor and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with the Commerce & Retail Media Activation teams to integrate Amazon measurement into planning and live activation processes.
• Ensure alignment of Amazon measurement strategies with Marketing Effectiveness standards to maintain consistency with overarching performance and brand measurement frameworks.
• Convert intricate Amazon analytics into straightforward, activation-ready insights for teams and clients.
• Work alongside activation and platform teams to optimize the value derived from buy-side tools like Pacvue, Skai, and similar platforms.
• Provide consultation on Amazon measurement best practices for client teams.
• Contribute to the development of internal playbooks, points of view (POVs), and best-practice documentation related to Amazon measurement.
• Assist in the training and upskilling of activation and analytics teams regarding Amazon measurement methodologies.
• Over 10 years of experience in commerce, retail media, or performance measurement with extensive expertise in Amazon Ads.
• Direct experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Sponsored Ads, and Amazon DSP measurement, including the creation and optimization of SQL-based queries.
• Comprehensive understanding of Amazon attribution models and the design of incrementality/experimentation (e.g., holdouts, exposure tests).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) for creating client-ready reports.
• Practical knowledge of AMC APIs, data ingestion processes, and measurement data pipelines.
• Experience supporting or enabling buy-side platforms such as Pacvue, Skai, or Amazon's native reporting tools.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with activation, marketing effectiveness, and technology teams.
• Experience in an agency, retail, or commerce technology platform is strongly preferred.
