Senior Director, Commerce

📋 Description

• Spearhead the Commerce strategy for a portfolio of key clients while also enhancing the quality of Tinuiti’s overall Commerce practice.

• Convert business aspirations into cohesive commerce growth strategies that yield quantifiable results across marketplaces, retail media, and the broader commerce landscape.

• Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships within senior stakeholder networks, including executive-level client contacts, while adeptly navigating intricate commerce platforms, retail, and organizational dynamics.

• Manage a portfolio of commerce client relationships, ensuring that strategies align with measurable business outcomes such as growth, retention, profitability, and market share.

• Promote the adoption of Tinuiti’s product offerings, third-party technologies, and AI-driven workflows to enhance efficiency, the quality of insights, and client results.

• Supervise the application of commerce performance data, platform signals, and overall business metrics to derive actionable insights and formulate strategic recommendations for clients.

• Serve as a thought leader in the commerce domain, providing strategic perspectives both internally and externally on emerging trends, best practices, and growth opportunities.

• Lead and nurture a high-performing commerce organization, including managers, senior specialists, and emerging leaders, while establishing high standards for strategic thinking, execution quality, and leadership conduct.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in commerce, retail media, marketplace strategy, ecommerce, or related growth-oriented marketing roles.

• Demonstrated experience in leading significant client relationships and commerce strategies within fast-paced, platform-driven environments.

• Proven track record in managing and developing multi-tiered teams, including senior specialists or managers.

• Extensive knowledge of commerce platforms and marketplace dynamics, with the ability to link strategy, execution, and business results.

• Strong proficiency in commerce-related data, KPI frameworks, and growth measurement methodologies.

• Solid understanding of product, technology, and AI capabilities as instruments to enhance efficiency, strategy, and client impact.

• Exceptional executive communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders through clarity, confidence, and commercial insight.

• Capability to navigate complexities across clients, partner relationships, and internal initiatives while sustaining strategic focus and team alignment.
