This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take ownership and expand the pipeline for expeditionary systems across all three mission domains: compute and infrastructure, command and control, and sensor/effector transport.
• Lead comprehensive capture initiatives for significant programs within the portfolio, overseeing the entire process from requirement definition to proposal submission and contract acquisition, whether the focus is on a modular data center, a deployable command-and-control node, or a platform that transports sensor and effector payloads.
• Drive the market strategy for a developing category—expeditionary systems—beyond a single product line. Articulate how Anduril’s capabilities in compute and infrastructure, command and control, and sensor/effector transport generate and secure demand across the Department of Defense, allied nations, and commercial partners, demonstrating how success in one mission area can lead to opportunities in the others.
• Promote the system rather than the individual components. Position wins to enhance Anduril’s broader compute and software offerings—the Voyager compute line, developed at scale, combined with the Lattice software layer—while integrating feedback from each mission area’s engagements.
• Establish and nurture direct relationships with high-ranking officials, including generals, flag officers, SES leaders, PEOs, capability portfolio managers, and senior coalition partner decision-makers. Work closely with requirements owners to influence future programs.
• Craft and implement partnership strategies with hyperscale cloud service providers and cutting-edge AI companies to deliver cloud access and AI capabilities to users in disadvantaged and disconnected environments.
• Work in tandem with engineering, product, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment between what is sold and what can be built and delivered, and to incorporate customer insights into the product development roadmap.
• Cultivate long-term business opportunities through live force exercises, user feedback, and direct engagement with operational units.
• Over 10 years of direct experience in business development or sales within defense, national security, or related technology markets, with a proven ability to close large, complex deals exceeding $50 million.
• Track record of meeting and surpassing quotas or booking targets. Experience in a commission-based or performance-driven sales environment rather than solely in a salaried business development role.
• Proven ability to build a pipeline from initial market development through programmatic funding and contract acquisition.
• Strong technical expertise across the expeditionary systems spectrum—distributed systems, edge/data-center computing (your primary focus), along with sufficient command-and-control and sensor/effector integration knowledge to sell the entire category. Capable of articulating a full-stack architecture—from a soldier-borne node to a deployable command post to a theater-scale AI factory—to both engineers and high-ranking military officials.
• Previous experience in bringing expeditionary or tactical capabilities to market across various applications, including AI/ML at the edge, data ingestion, application hosting, command and control, ISR/sensor integration, JADC2, and similar fields.
• In-depth understanding of the current demand landscape for expeditionary systems and emerging capability trends, including knowledge of buyers, their purchasing patterns, and existing gaps.
• Comprehensive understanding of DoD acquisition processes, government contracting mechanisms, and capability transition pathways (OTAs, FAR/DFAR, MTA, JCIDS, etc.).
• Established relationships with senior government officials, including general/flag officers, SES leaders, and program executive offices. Experience selling directly to government end-customers, rather than solely to prime contractors.
• Capacity to function as a high-output individual contributor, willing and able to engage personally in captures, proposals, and customer interactions, rather than merely directing others.
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, small-team environments characterized by ambiguity, where you are responsible for creating the playbook instead of following an existing one.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of writing persuasive proposals, briefing a combatant commander, and whiteboarding a system architecture all within the same week.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance, with the ability to maintain it.
• Health insurance
• Retirement plans
• Paid time off
• Flexible work arrangements
• Professional development
