Principal, Business Operations

📋 Description

• In the role of Principal, Business Operations at Greenbox Capital, you will play a key role in defining the company's operational strategies, scaling processes, and decision-making frameworks.

• Your responsibilities will include converting ambiguous business challenges into well-defined workflows, operating models, business rules, implementation criteria, and quantifiable operational results across various domains including underwriting, renewals, funding, servicing, sales, risk, product, data, and technology.

• You will pinpoint operational inefficiencies, design future-oriented processes, align cross-functional stakeholders, aid in the implementation and adoption of changes, and assess whether these changes yield significant business impact.

• Lead the redesign of workflows from the initial diagnosis through to pilot testing, rollout, adoption, and performance measurement.

• Foster alignment among executives, frontline teams, and departments such as Product, Technology, Data, Engineering, and Operations.

• Develop business rules, controls, handoffs, and implementation requirements that ensure consistency in execution by teams and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in business operations, operational strategy, business process transformation, systems design, process improvement, product operations, management consulting, or a related area.

• Proven ownership of business process transformation from diagnosis through implementation, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

• Demonstrated experience in enhancing workflows related to revenue, sales, renewals, customer or broker funnels, underwriting, funding, servicing, risk, or internal operations.

• Evidence of improving key outcomes such as conversion rates, cycle times, capacity, productivity, adoption, customer or broker experience, risk controls, or operational efficiency.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives in startup, scale-up, or transformation settings.

• Experience working with executive stakeholders and influencing decisions across various teams.

• Ability to translate business requirements into operational, product, data, or technology specifications.

• A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
