• Identifies new prospects and engages with current customers to boost sales of Policy Reporter’s products and/or services.
• Collaborates closely with various team members to oversee the business development process for designated accounts, including financial and commercial analysis to secure new business.
• Formulates, proposes, and executes annual sales strategies.
• Oversees daily business requirements, which consist of regular market visits with clients and involvement in industry trends and current issues.
• Serves as a strategic partner to clients, nurturing relationships while delivering solutions to intricate business challenges.
• Assesses program effectiveness to provide consultative recommendations aimed at enhancing, supporting, and expanding business.
• Must advocate internally for customers' best interests while simultaneously balancing the financial long-term benefits/risks and interests of Policy Reporter.
• Analyzes products and consistently updates offerings to meet evolving customer and consumer demands.
• Fosters relationships with all internal departments to broaden the sales team's leadership role across all functional areas.
• Conducts opportunity evaluations for all accounts within their assigned territory and outlines overall territory strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year accredited college or university.
• 8-10 years of experience in market access on either the client or agency side is preferred.
• 3-5 years of sales experience in market access/healthcare technology or a closely related field.
• Must possess experience in handling complex sales opportunities with a record of success.
• Proficient in the use of MEDDICC or a comparable comprehensive sales qualification methodology tailored for complex B2B sales.
• Skilled in delivering customer presentations using various technological tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with salesforce.com or other CRM tools is required.
• Must be willing to travel both locally and out of town.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Capability to effectively present information and answer questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
• Competence in analyzing data and making recommendations regarding discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Ability to address practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Skill in identifying problems, analyzing data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions from the provided data.
