This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Identify and investigate potential clients in the social housing sector, including housing associations, local authorities, and registered providers.
• Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach methods, such as cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn engagement, and participation in industry events and conferences.
• Assess both inbound and outbound leads, scheduling discovery calls and meetings for senior sales team members.
• Establish and sustain a strong pipeline in the CRM system, ensuring all prospect interactions are accurately recorded and kept up-to-date.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of iOpt’s sensor solutions and the specific challenges they address for housing providers.
• Collaborate effectively with the marketing team to enhance campaign activities, follow up on generated leads, and provide insightful market feedback.
• Represent iOpt at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and tender submissions as necessary.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor actions, and sector advancements to guide business development strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in a business development, sales, or account management position, preferably in a B2B context.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
• Self-driven with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, small-team setting where initiative is encouraged.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office/365.
• Experience or knowledge in the social housing, property, or built environment sectors.
• Understanding of IoT, sensor technology, and related solutions.
• Experience collaborating with marketing teams on lead generation initiatives.
