This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly quotas for qualified sales meetings (SALs) conducted and Stage 2 opportunities (SQLs).
• Develop and implement a territory plan in collaboration with assigned Business Development Managers, Marketing, and UK market priorities.
• Create a pipeline through the qualification of inbound leads and targeted outbound prospecting within public sector accounts, ensuring prompt follow-up, qualification, and nurturing of marketing-generated leads and website inquiries.
• Keep comprehensive and precise records of all activities, contacts, and accounts in Salesforce.
• Connect with senior public sector leaders using relevant, insight-driven messaging that showcases Granicus’ unique value in digital government and citizen engagement.
• Actively identify, research, and engage with target organizations and senior stakeholders (e.g., Directors, Heads of Service, Digital Leaders, and C-suite equivalents) via phone, email, and multi-channel outreach, demonstrating a robust cold-calling discipline.
• Exhibit strong cold-calling discipline by confidently initiating discussions with senior decision-makers in the public sector.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Marketing to create and maintain territory/account plans, align messaging and target personas, and generate qualified discovery meetings that evolve into sales opportunities and pipeline.
• Take part in marketing campaigns, programs, and events (including post-event outreach and attendance when relevant).
• Organize and manage daily/weekly outreach to ensure comprehensive territory coverage.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Granicus products, UK public sector priorities, GovTech/SaaS trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Engage in regional sales meetings and UK-wide team collaboration.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation (preferred).
• Proven track record in cold calling/outbound prospecting and consistently achieving activity and performance targets.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, or similar sales platforms.
• Experience in enterprise/complex B2B and/or public sector (B2G) sales environments.
• Experience in GovTech, SaaS, or the UK public sector is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent proficiency in the English language (both written and spoken).
