β’ Take ownership and expand your portfolio β Achieve or surpass your booking goals by fostering new client relationships and strategically growing existing accounts.
β’ Strengthen client relationships β Build rapport with senior stakeholders, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and discover cross-sell and upsell opportunities that deliver lasting value.
β’ Lead through insights β Position Konovo as a trusted advisor by understanding client challenges, crafting customized solutions, and introducing innovative market research strategies.
β’ Proactively engage prospects β Reach out to target accounts through strategic networking, outbound initiatives, events, and digital platforms to cultivate a strong, high-quality sales pipeline.
β’ Manage the sales process β Take charge from the initial conversation to the signed contract: qualifying leads, creating proposals, negotiating terms, and finalizing deals.
β’ Collaborate for success β Work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to guarantee smooth delivery and enhance client satisfaction.
β’ Monitor and report on progress β Deliver precise pipeline forecasts, account strategies, and performance updates to inform territory tactics and resource management.
β’ Stay informed about the market β Keep an eye on industry trends, competitor activities, and client requirements to guide strategic outreach and product positioning.
β’ Demonstrated enterprise sales proficiency β Over 10 years of success in complex B2B sales, with a history of exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas through both new client acquisition and growth of existing accounts.
β’ Knowledge of healthcare & life sciences β Experience selling into the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries, ideally with expertise in market research, healthcare intelligence, or related SaaS/data solutions.
β’ Strategic hunter-farmer approach β Proficient at prospecting new accounts while also enhancing and expanding relationships within an existing portfolio.
β’ Relationship-focused and insight-driven β Capable of building trust with senior decision-makers and framing solutions around their business challenges and growth objectives.
β’ Consultative & commercial insight β Skilled at leading with insights, constructing compelling business cases, and negotiating complex, high-value contracts.
β’ Resilient and results-oriented β Persistent in pursuing opportunities, disciplined in managing the pipeline, and driven by achieving ambitious growth objectives.
β’ Collaborative leadership β Effectively works with cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Product, Marketing) to drive client value and organizational growth.
β’ Data- and market-aware β Proactively tracks industry trends, competitor actions, and market changes to foresee opportunities and position Konovo for success.
β’ Technology-savvy in sales β Experienced with modern sales tools, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and Salesforce (or similar CRM) for pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.
β’ Open to travel β Willing to travel domestically (up to 25β40%) to meet clients, participate in industry events, and foster in-person relationships.
β’ Preferred qualifications β MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
