This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and implement business development strategies aimed at achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
• Discover new market prospects, therapeutic domains, and partnership frameworks that align with Civia's offerings.
• Develop and oversee a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, from initial prospecting to successful closure.
• Forge and sustain senior-level relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech firms, along with contract research organizations (CROs).
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by comprehensively understanding their commercial and operational requirements.
• Work in collaboration with marketing and finance teams to enhance value propositions, messaging, and market entry strategies.
• Guide and support junior members of the business development team as the function expands.
• 3-5+ years of experience in business development within the site network arena.
• Demonstrated success in closing complex, high-value transactions while consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• In-depth knowledge of the clinical research process, encompassing phases I-IV.
• Outstanding executive presence, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
