This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead outreach efforts to potential clients within key priority organizations to establish initial meetings and drive new RFPs.
• Collaborate with the department head to evaluate, analyze, and target prospective new business opportunities.
• Work alongside the department head and account leaders to formulate account strategies and engage in monthly/quarterly accountability sessions.
• Team up with account leads to create tactical communication plans that align with account-level objectives on an ongoing basis.
• Build and sustain relationships with industry associations, key decision-makers, and influencers in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Organize and conduct meetings with prospects, ensuring adequate research support for these discussions.
• Provide guidance to account leaders and directors on client relationship development, prospecting, and various aspects of business development.
• Utilize the company’s CRM system to monitor meetings, calls, and email outreach to prospects.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Analyst and administrative team to ensure meticulous maintenance of client databases and outreach activities.
• Whenever feasible, assist in the development of proposals and pitch decks.
• Represent BioVid in a business development capacity at selected industry conferences when required.
• Act as interim account leads for new or smaller accounts during the relationship-building phase.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in selling custom market research and consulting services.
• Proven experience with team-based selling and collaborating with subject matter experts.
• Exceptional time management and personal organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF Pro, and experienced in database applications, CRMs (such as Salesforce.com), collaboration sites, and portals.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
