• Hostaway is seeking a Senior Director of Brand and Content to develop and oversee the brand, content, and creative initiatives for our next phase of growth as a premier B2B SaaS platform for professional short-term rental operators.
• You will primarily establish the function from the ground up, which includes assembling the team, creating the operating model, defining workflows, implementing AI-enabled production systems, and setting quality standards.
• This position will closely collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, Marketing Operations, and Product to ensure that Hostaway’s brand, content, and creative initiatives are in sync with SaaS go-to-market priorities, buyer journeys, product launches, demand generation, and quantifiable business results.
• Lead and develop a team responsible for a modern content engine that generates high-quality, high-velocity editorial, thought leadership, and demand-generating content.
• Assemble the in-house Creative team from scratch, including designers, copywriters, motion/video specialists, and production talent.
• Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, Marketing Operations, and Product to harmonize brand, content, and creative efforts in support of go-to-market objectives and drive revenue growth.
• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate the brand, content, and creative team, making strategic early decisions on senior leadership, hands-on creators, and hybrid AI-savvy talent.
• Establish KPIs related to brand health, content performance, creative effectiveness, AI productivity enhancements, LLM/AI discoverability, and revenue contributions.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in content, brand, and/or creative leadership, with substantial experience in B2B SaaS marketing.
• At least 5 years of experience in building and leading teams, including recruiting senior talent and nurturing high-performing creative or editorial professionals.
• Experience in marketing to SMB or mid-market SaaS buyers, ideally in a fast-paced, transactional sales and marketing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop a SaaS marketing function or sub-function from scratch, encompassing strategy, team structure, workflows, tools, and execution standards.
• Deep understanding of SaaS go-to-market motions, buyer journeys, product marketing, demand generation, lifecycle content, and sales enablement.
• Strong editorial instincts, storytelling capability, and creative judgment, with a clear understanding of what constitutes effective B2B SaaS content and creative work.
• Practical experience with AI tools for content, brand, and creative projects, including insights on how AI enhances quality, speed, and scalability.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership abilities, executive presence, and a proven track record of linking brand, content, and creative efforts to measurable SaaS business results such as pipeline, revenue, retention, and category authority.
