This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop compelling, innovative, and essential insights content that provokes thought.
• Cultivate thought leadership by providing new insights and actionable solutions tailored to client needs.
• Assess client challenges and requirements to uncover root causes and shape strategy.
• Establish the Insights positions among a team of analysts.
• Deliver independent insights to Gartner leaders to influence research priorities.
• Conduct research, analysis, and forecasting of market trends and changes.
• Offer practical advice to clients and prospects through both virtual and in-person interactions.
• Prepare and present at Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Assist BTI and Sales by acting as the market's voice and enhancing client engagement.
• Perform timely and high-quality peer reviews of content.
• Represent Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies as a recognized industry authority.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaborative efforts within the Insights community.
• Enhance research processes and create new service delivery methods.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Facilitate regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of experience in infrastructure cybersecurity, secure networking architecture, or related IT fields.
• Familiarity with key infrastructure cybersecurity AI solutions from companies like Palo Alto Networks, Netskope, Cato Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and Microsoft.
• Proficiency in agentic AI architectures, frontier AI models, and autonomous cybersecurity agents.
• In-depth knowledge of agentic infrastructure cybersecurity applications in areas such as network security, cloud security, endpoint/server patching, backup, data protection, and disaster recovery.
• Comprehension of multi-agent cybersecurity systems, agent orchestration, autonomous decision-making, and coordinated security operations.
• Insight into AI agent security, covering aspects like agent identity, authorization, privilege management, prompt injection threats, agent hijacking, tool poisoning, and evolving security architectures.
• Executive presence with the capability to build credibility with C-level executives and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis, with the ability to discern patterns and frameworks.
• Strong communication and presentation capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across diverse teams in a multicultural global environment.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 25% as needed.
