Senior Security Agent / AI Red Team Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Threat-model prompts, retrieval, tools, memory, MCP/A2A, and identities.

• Execute attacks and confirm remediation efforts.

• Develop solutions utilizing prompt injection testing, AI red teaming, Model Armor, IAM, secure tool calling, and MCP/A2A security.

• Guide and mentor team members.

• Contribute to the development of reusable security standards.

• Assist with RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD authorization processes.

• Support Federal and DoD programs, particularly in regulated, high-consequence environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software, cloud, data, cybersecurity, systems, or AI engineering.

• More than 3 years of advanced hands-on experience in production or regulated settings.

• Proficient with prompt injection, AI red teaming, Model Armor, IAM, secure tool calling, MCP/A2A security, Python, and incident response.

• Experience in leading threat modeling or red-team testing for AI systems is preferred.

• Possession of CISSP, SecurityX/CASP+, GIAC, CKS, or related certifications is preferred.

• An active Secret clearance is required.

• TS/SCI eligibility is preferred.

• Hybrid or remote work with travel to customer sites expected to be around 10–25%.

• Preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area.
