Senior Director, AI Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business and functional leaders to discover, assess, and prioritize AI opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Technology.

• Create and sustain an enterprise portfolio of AI use cases.

• Assist in the prioritization, sequencing, and implementation of initiatives outlined in the AI transformation roadmap.

• Transition AI initiatives from conceptualization and experimentation to adoption, scalability, and measurable business outcomes.

• Establish and enhance the AI Center of Excellence with frameworks, playbooks, best practices, and knowledge-sharing methods.

• Develop and operationalize AI governance frameworks, standards, and processes in collaboration with Technology, Security, Legal, Privacy, Risk, and business stakeholders.

• Lead the coordination of significant cross-functional AI transformation initiatives.

• Set objectives, milestones, owners, dependencies, results, and execution momentum.

• Create metrics to track AI adoption, productivity, business impact, and value realization.

• Facilitate executive reviews of AI initiatives, including progress, risks, opportunities, and outcomes.

• Assess build-versus-buy opportunities and identify technologies, platforms, and strategic partners.

• Prepare and deliver AI transformation strategies, roadmaps, use cases, recommendations, progress updates, and business outcomes to executive leadership.

• Simplify complex AI concepts and emerging technologies into actionable business opportunities.

• Facilitate decision-making among business, product, technology, and executive stakeholders.

• Serve as a trusted advisor on AI opportunities, adoption, transformation, and value realization.

• Foster a culture of responsible AI adoption and experimentation through effective communication, education, and enablement.

• Identify and expand successful AI use cases, patterns, and best practices across different functions and regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, strategy, consulting, product, operations, or related fields.

• Significant experience working with AI or emerging technologies.

• Strong comprehension of AI, GenAI, automation, and new AI capabilities, along with their practical business applications.

• Proven experience in identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and executing technology or AI use cases based on business value and feasibility.

• Expertise in developing executive-level presentations, recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases.

• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, data privacy, security, and enterprise technology considerations.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Advanced degree is preferred.
