This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute a long-term strategy aimed at enhancing face-to-face monthly donor acquisition and single gift direct mail acquisition.
• Set annual goals for revenue, donor volume, call-to-action (CTA), retention, and lifetime value (LTV).
• Supervise national face-to-face operations, managing both internal teams and external vendors.
• Oversee and refine the monthly donor (sustainer) program, including onboarding processes, stewardship strategies, upgrade pathways, and retention metrics.
• Track and enhance key performance indicators such as cost to acquire, average monthly donation, 12-month retention rates, and long-term value.
• Direct the development of budgets, forecasting, and profit and loss (P&L) management.
• Work collaboratively across departments to incorporate monthly donors into comprehensive multi-channel engagement strategies.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years focused on direct marketing within a large, multifaceted nonprofit organization, agency, or corporate environment.
• Proven experience in designing marketing campaigns, from conceptualizing vision to establishing messaging platforms.
• Strong project management capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines.
• Background in managing face-to-face and direct mail marketing campaigns.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to understanding cultural and systemic racism, as well as the intersectionality of various forms of social inequality.
• Experience collaborating with diverse vendors is essential.
• A passion for wildlife conservation and the protection of natural habitats is highly desirable.
• Experience in environmental conservation is a plus.
