• Accountable for all solution positioning and marketing initiatives for the Calix Access Solution and Calix Subscriber Solution portfolios.
• Lead and coordinate the Product Marketing team to collaborate within a matrix organization that supports various GTM teams in delivering market-specific strategic offerings.
• Own the creation of solution positioning and content to enhance growth in access and subscriber solutions within MSP/MDU markets and among large service providers with multi-vendor networks in North America and global growth markets.
• Responsible for new product introduction (NPI) and marketing for releases, establishing strategic communication and enablement initiatives surrounding the launch of new products and features or updates to existing products.
• Partner closely with key stakeholders in Sales, Success, Commercial Strategy, and Product teams.
• Engage with customers through one-on-one meetings, speaking engagements, and executive briefings.
• Collaborate with Calix executives to develop compelling narratives and presentations that reinforce strategic objectives.
• Work alongside the Product and Commercial Strategy teams to integrate customer, market, and competitive feedback into structured insights for the Calix product lifecycle.
• Team up with Field Marketing and GTM teams to ensure alignment of solution strategy with marketing campaigns, sales enablement, events, communication channels, and customer feedback activities.
• Collaborate with content strategists to produce engaging marketing materials, including webpages, solution briefs, white papers, blogs, and customer presentations.
• Solid understanding of access networking, including subscriber management/BNG, aggregation routing, and PON FTTH networks.
• Deep knowledge of subscriber premises solutions such as Wi-Fi AP and controllers, residential gateways, switching, and firewalls.
• Extensive experience in introducing new product solutions to customers and successfully driving product solutions into emerging markets.
• Familiarity with the Broadband Forum TR-369 User Service Platform (USP) and prpl Foundation architectures is preferred.
• Proven experience in marketing solutions to broadband service providers.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in solution or product marketing.
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment where change is a consistent element of the marketplace.
• Ability to initiate and advance programs while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• A hands-on player/coach – personally creating compelling marketing assets and leading customer interactions while also building a cohesive team of senior product marketing managers and mentoring them towards greater individual and team achievements.
• Capability to understand and translate technical features into clear benefits with a compelling story narrative.
• Thorough knowledge of Go To Market (GTM) processes for hardware and software systems.
• Excellent written communication and public speaking/presentation skills.
• Willingness to support periodic travel of up to 20% of the time.
