This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Oversee paid media initiatives across various platforms including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, and emerging channels.
• Take responsibility for the channel mix, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and measurable enhancements in cost per qualified pipeline dollar.
• Manage budget forecasting, pacing, in-quarter budget reallocations, and business cases for increased expenditure.
• Conduct continuous testing across creative elements, audience targeting, offers, bidding strategies, and landing page experiences.
• Own the paid conversion journey from advertisement to landing page and form completion.
• Guide paid agencies and channel representatives towards achieving desired outcomes.
• Develop attribution models, incrementality testing, and channel-level reporting that links spending to marketing qualified leads (MQLs), pipeline, and CAC efficiency.
• Combine paid and organic performance reporting into a cohesive analysis.
• Spearhead the organic growth strategy, roadmap, and objectives and key results (OKRs).
• Increase qualified organic traffic while enhancing the conversion rate to activated users and pipeline.
• Create the SPS AEO/GEO playbook, encompassing citation strategies, structured content, and tracking share-of-voice in answer engines.
• Establish technical SEO priorities and oversee the delivery of services by agencies or specialists.
• Consolidate SPS presence across platforms such as Reddit, G2, YouTube, and other community and review channels.
• 5–7+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or growth within a B2B SaaS, fintech, or technology environment.
• Direct accountability for a paid media budget and an organic search initiative.
• Proficient in managing paid search and paid social campaigns.
• Experience in handling a significant budget and developing a channel mix from the ground up.
• Ability to analyze metrics including SQLs, pipeline, CAC, and payback periods.
• Actively experiment with citation strategies, structured content for model consumption, or measuring share of voice in answer engines.
• Knowledge of site architecture, schema, crawling, and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience in differentiating between trust-building content and low-value content.
• Proven track record in managing agencies and ensuring they meet performance outcomes.
• Comfortable with the limitations of attribution and capable of designing defensible tests.
• Skilled in making critical decisions with incomplete data.
• Possess an experimentation-driven mindset.
• Preferred: experience with significant Google algorithm updates.
• Preferred: experience in executing incrementality or geo-holdout tests.
• Preferred: understanding of retrieval-augmented generation systems.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with AI and automation tools.
• Preferred: experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive industries.
