This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +8 more states.
• Provide technical expertise in forensics and support investigations for cybersecurity defense stakeholders.
• Lead and enhance Humana’s initiatives to combat identity theft, account takeover, and related fraudulent activities.
• Investigate threats related to identity and perform forensic analysis to ascertain methods of attack and underlying causes.
• Coordinate response efforts to mitigate risks and safeguard Humana associates, members, and assets.
• Develop, implement, and consistently enhance automation, detection capabilities, and investigative processes.
• Facilitate scalable identification, triage, and response to identity fraud campaigns.
• Evaluate and correlate incident data to pinpoint vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for forensic analysis remediation.
• Oversee a real-time forensic capability that collects, evaluates, and analyzes data correlations.
• Generate reports for EIP leadership that include comprehensive investigative analyses of potential root causes.
• Assist in enterprise cyber investigations, incident response, forensic analysis, and the enhancement of forensic capabilities.
• Shape departmental strategy through technical leadership, operational excellence, and automation efforts.
• Make independent decisions regarding technical approaches for project components and outline objectives and methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security.
• 3+ years of experience in Digital Forensics and/or Incident Response.
• 3+ years of experience using Splunk, including the creation of queries, alerting, and dashboard development.
• 5+ years of experience in Digital Forensics, including tools such as FTK, Axiom, EnCase, and other forensic resources (preferred).
• GIAC/SANS certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GIME, and/or GASF (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in cloud forensics/incident response (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience working with or investigating artificial intelligence systems (preferred).
• Must reside within 60 minutes of a specified metropolitan area or be open to relocation.
• Capability to provide high-speed fiber, DSL, or cable modem for a home office setting.
• Minimum internet speed requirement of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Satellite and wireless internet services are not permitted.
