This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, troubleshoot, and sustain automation and integration capabilities for cloud and software delivery environments.
• Develop automation solutions to enhance consistency, reliability, and speed of delivery.
• Facilitate secure software delivery, operational sustainment, and engineering activities driven by compliance.
• Create scripts, tools, pipelines, documentation, and repeatable processes.
• Utilize expertise across requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, debugging, release, and sustainment.
• Design and maintain infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, operational support tasks, and integration workflows.
• Assess user and business needs and convert them into technical designs, diagrams, workflows, and implementation plans.
• Generate and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and evidence artifacts.
• Assist with configuration management, vulnerability remediation, scan integration, and compliance activities.
• Troubleshoot issues across applications, operating systems, infrastructure, cloud, network, identity, and CI/CD boundaries.
• Mentor less experienced professionals and potentially take on a task lead role.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, network, application, and customer teams.
• Aid in planned engineering buildouts and troubleshoot mission-critical issues.
• Must currently possess a Secret clearance; Top Secret clearance is required or must be obtainable.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification such as Security+ CE is required.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience in software development, automation, DevOps, cloud, systems engineering, or mission IT.
• Proficiency in scripting or software development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD or automation tooling.
• Experience with cloud or infrastructure services.
• Knowledge of source control systems.
• Capable of technical troubleshooting and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Practical experience in building supportable and maintainable automation solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and adeptness at navigating incomplete requirements or logs.
• Effective communication of technical decisions, risks, and status to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of security, documentation, change control, and operational stability within a mission environment.
• Preferred: experience in federal, DoD, cloud, classified, or controlled environments.
• Preferred: familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or similar pipeline platforms and source-control workflows.
• Preferred: experience in cloud automation, event-driven workflows, containerized applications, and infrastructure as code.
• Preferred: certifications in cloud, DevOps, security, or infrastructure.
• Preferred exposure to PowerShell, Python, Bash, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools, containers, Azure, AWS, infrastructure as code, security scanning, vulnerability remediation, and regulated environments.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% of the time.
