Senior DevSecOps – 6 months

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct security assessments and threat modeling within the AWS environment.

• Analyze and address critical Infrastructure as Code issues prior to launch.

• Evaluate AI-assisted and AI-generated code for potential security vulnerabilities.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security roadmap that includes WAF, SAST/DAST, CI/CD security gates, secrets management, and IAM hardening.

• Collaborate with client engineers and the internal DevSecOps hire to share best practices with the team.

• Create documentation, runbooks, and reports.

• Execute additional tasks as agreed upon by the client and the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical AWS security experience in multi-region settings.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

• Experience in IAM design and hardening.

• Ability to work effectively with Claude and agentic development methodologies.

• Strong awareness of security risks posed by AI-assisted and AI-generated code.

• Experience with CI/CD security tools (SAST/DAST) and security gates in pipelines (preferred).

• Knowledge of WAF configuration and management (preferred).

• Experience in secrets management at scale (preferred).

• Background in integrating security within a dynamic product team (preferred).
