Senior DevSecOps – 6-Month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Become a part of a security-oriented team dedicated to strengthening a multi-region AWS platform prior to a significant launch milestone.

• Conduct security assessments and threat modeling encompassing network security, secrets management, infrastructure, and IAM.

• Evaluate and address critical Infrastructure as Code issues related to the launch.

• Analyze AI-assisted and AI-generated code for potential security vulnerabilities.

• Develop and implement the security roadmap, which includes WAF, SAST/DAST, CI/CD security gates, secrets management, and IAM enhancements.

• Collaborate with client engineers and the internal DevSecOps hire to promote security practices.

• Produce documentation, runbooks, and reports.

• Engage in additional activities as agreed upon by the client and the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical AWS security experience in multi-region settings.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.

• Experience in IAM design and hardening.

• Ability to work comfortably with Claude and agentic development workflows.

• Strong understanding of the security risks posed by AI-assisted and AI-generated code.

• Familiarity with CI/CD security tools (SAST/DAST) and integrating security gates into pipelines (preferred).

• Experience in WAF configuration and management (preferred).

• Knowledge of secrets management at scale (preferred).

• Background in embedding security within a fast-paced product team (preferred).
