Senior DevOps Engineer – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Set up and oversee cloud-based infrastructure for web and mobile applications, utilizing AWS and other cloud services.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing procedures.

• Streamline deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes for real-time applications.

• Create and uphold observability systems for logging, monitoring, metrics collection, and alert notifications.

• Ensure system reliability and performance through proactive monitoring and incident response planning.

• Engage in daily standup meetings with team members and weekly demonstrations with clients.

• Work closely with development teams to enhance build processes and deployment strategies.

• Aid in upholding security best practices throughout infrastructure and application deployments.

• Collaborate with a diverse team in a client-facing capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience implementing DevOps methodologies within cloud environments.

• Strong emphasis on CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Proficient with REST APIs, Webhooks, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaaS platforms in AWS and Google Cloud.

• Extensive experience in containerization, orchestration, and automation with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch, or Datadog.

• Understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, S3, and EBS.

• Knowledge of OSI layers, TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing principles.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of practical experience.

• Proficient in English (B2+ or higher), both written and spoken.

• Experience collaborating within agile teams employing Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Capability to work remotely with necessary headset/camera equipment, maintain responsiveness during working hours, have a quiet workspace, and possess a reliable internet connection.

• Experience with VoIP, WebRTC, or AI infrastructure is an advantage.

• Experience architecting cloud infrastructure for scalable machine learning and data pipelines is a plus.

• Experience in building and scaling infrastructure for VoIP/WebRTC applications is a plus.

• Experience in building and scaling infrastructure for AI agents is a plus.
