Senior DevOps Engineer – Eligible for SC/NPPV3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Assume full responsibility for cloud infrastructure, from provisioning to daily operations.

• Collaborate closely with the Solutions Architect on major infrastructure modifications.

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code as the standard practice and enhance the infrastructure configuration.

• Ensure that CI/CD pipelines remain efficient and dependable.

• Investigate and effectively resolve pipeline failures and performance issues.

• Monitor environments for performance metrics, uptime, and resource utilization.

• Address and troubleshoot operational challenges.

• Research industry advancements and suggest improved methodologies.

• Generate ideas, conduct exploratory initiatives, and advocate for enhancements.

• Collaborate with broader teams to comprehend requirements and deliver DevOps solutions.

• Contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for significant national public-sector programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience managing cloud infrastructure in a production environment on AWS.

• Familiarity with Azure is an advantage.

• Proficient knowledge of Terraform beyond the basics; experience with Teragrunt is a plus.

• Background in managing complex estates, creating reusable modules, and operating across multiple environments.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD in a production setting.

• Capability to write automation scripts in Python or Bash.

• Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with CircleCI is a plus.

• Understanding of security considerations and deployment risks.

• SC eligibility is mandatory.

• Must possess the right to work and travel within the EU; documentary verification is required.

• Satisfactory background checks and references are necessary.

• A Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may be required based on the specific role.
