Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps across infrastructure, Power Platform, data platforms, and test automation.

• Implement release strategies based on environments that include approvals, quality gates, and rollback mechanisms.

• Develop reusable pipeline templates that incorporate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checks.

• Serve as a DevOps advisor, advocating for best practices in Git workflows, branching strategies, and deployment processes.

• Create and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code, adhering to governance standards such as RBAC, tagging, and networking.

• Assist in Power Platform ALM, covering solution packaging, deployments, and environment management.

• Automate and facilitate deployments for Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Dynamics 365, enabling CI/CD for data workflows.

• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and architecture reviews to enhance reliability and consistency.

• Provide support for multiple product and data teams within a centralized delivery environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of practical experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts), including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership position.

• A current Secret Government of Canada security clearance or higher is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Azure services, including networking, compute, storage, IAM, Key Vault, and PaaS.

• Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines across various environments, incorporating approvals and gating procedures.

• Proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Familiarity with Terraform and practices related to infrastructure as code.

• Strong grasp of Git workflows and source control methodologies.

• Capability to collaborate across teams and provide support to multiple delivery streams.
