Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure environments.

• Spearhead CI/CD automation and enhance deployment optimization strategies.

• Execute Kubernetes orchestration and container management solutions.

• Create Infrastructure-as-Code implementations using Terraform or comparable tools.

• Enhance observability, monitoring, and workflows for incident response.

• Assist in system security, scalability, and disaster recovery planning.

• Guide junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices.

• Partner with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and release planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.

• Profound knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and cloud-native technologies.

• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

• Practical experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.

• Understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.

• Strong scripting or programming abilities in Python, Go, or Bash.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

• Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
