Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of CI/CD and infrastructure design across various application teams.

• Establish architecture, deployment methodologies, and specifications for AI-generated pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation processes.

• Engage in coding directly when necessary.

• Identify verification requirements and validate pipeline tests, policy-as-code, and security protocols.

• Develop shared standards, tools, patterns, and practices in collaboration with Cloud Ops.

• Manage application observability and instrument the services being supported.

• Link alerting mechanisms to product service level objectives (SLOs).

• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and resolving production challenges.

• Take part in reviews, deployment decisions, on-call responses, and learning from incidents.

• Mentor engineers on specifying, delegating, and validating work involving AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience using agentic AI as the primary interface for planning and constructing CI/CD and infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience in building and managing production CI/CD and cloud infrastructure at scale in AWS or Azure.

• Experience in fulfilling on-call responsibilities.

• Background in integrating testing, security, and observability into systems.

• Capability to collaborate across multiple application teams and with Cloud Ops colleagues.

• Practical experience with containers and Kubernetes for application workloads.

• Familiarity with Helm or similar tools.

• Hands-on experience with serverless functions in production environments.

• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM in a production context.

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or Java.

• Experience in implementing SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning within pipelines.

• Knowledge of least-privilege IAM practices and encryption for data in transit and at rest.

• Familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST and SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
