Senior Development Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Accurately inputs and maintains donor information in Salesforce, including new entries, changes to contact details, preferences, and collaborates with the Information & Knowledge Management Team for bulk record updates.

• Creates and manages Salesforce reports for the Development team, providing reliable data insights to enhance fundraising strategies and stewardship efforts.

• Manages the complete lifecycle of stock donations, from initial acceptance and donor verification to final documentation and tax receipt issuance.

• Responds to calls, voicemails, and email inquiries from both donors and prospects.

• Provides administrative support for all external events where the Development team is either the primary organizer or a significant planning partner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a fundraising role.

• Proven experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce, including report generation and data management; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.

• Demonstrated capability in processing charitable contributions, including stock transfers, recurring donations, and matching gifts.

• Background in coordinating logistics for external events, including vendor sourcing, RSVP management, and invitation processes.

• Ability to thrive in a diverse, team-oriented, and fast-paced setting.
