Senior Developer – MSI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer guidance and leadership to colleagues in Application Development

• Provide advanced support for development initiatives

• Collaborate directly with team members and clients to create technology solutions that align with business objectives

• Work alongside Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Development, Sales teams, and other internal staff

• Facilitate the development of new features within a cloud-based SaaS framework

• Mentor development peers and assist in conducting code reviews

• Support the CI/CD DevOps process, ensuring that high-quality code is delivered to the Test environment

• Uphold Solution Architect methodology and maintain consistent development practices

• Design and manage custom integration points between the company and client development teams

• Act as a technology authority for clients, vendors, claims administrators, carriers, and internal teams

• Develop technology solutions that enhance the sales and service of insurance products

• Create and implement website solutions that adhere to web design and client specifications

• Adapt to new programming languages, methodologies, and platforms

• Review applications, troubleshoot issues, and design efficient, reusable, and reliable code

• Ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, proposing effective mitigation strategies

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant development experience

• Proficient in using design patterns for creating well-structured code products

• Experienced in conducting code reviews and utilizing agile development methodologies

• Familiar with cloud development, particularly Software as a Service

• Expert understanding of UI, compatibility across various browsers and mobile platforms, as well as general web functions and standards

• Strong communication and organizational skills, evidenced by the ability to lead engagement and problem-solving discussions
