Architectural Engineering Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop complex architectural engineering challenges for advanced AI training and assessment.

• Formulate deterministic challenges that yield a single correct solution.

• Produce comprehensive, validated solutions and meticulously document the reasoning behind them.

• Create problems related to building systems, structural design, HVAC, lighting, acoustics, energy efficiency, or building physics.

• Design scenarios that necessitate the integration of architectural and engineering constraints.

• Employ computational modeling, BIM, energy simulation, or engineering tools to confirm solutions when applicable.

• Guarantee that all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and proficiently articulated in English.

• Generate high-quality STEM training datasets utilized in the training and evaluation processes for cutting-edge AI models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Architectural Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field.

• Significant research or industry experience in building systems, structural systems, energy performance, or building design.

• Strong quantitative and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Thorough understanding of building physics and integrated building systems.

• Capability to design original, challenging problems that reflect authentic architectural engineering workflows.

• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in technical writing in English.

• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, EnergyPlus, Rhino/Grasshopper, IES VE, OpenStudio, MATLAB, Python, or similar tools (preferred).

• Experience in sustainable building design, energy modeling, structural analysis, or computational design (preferred).

• Background in BIM workflows, engineering standards, technical assessment design, or model evaluation (preferred).
