Senior Developer, Business Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop applications and data models tailored for reporting needs utilizing Qlikview, QlikSense, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, and various other product tools.

• Recognize inter-departmental dependencies and assess the downstream effects of modifications within reporting applications.

• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources.

• Adjust to evolving reporting requirements and new Business Intelligence tools.

• Perform continuous data validation to maintain data integrity and reliability.

• Discover opportunities to optimize analytics processes and enhance them.

• Act as the analytics contact for state audits, legislative inquiries, and escalated analytical issues.

• Lead and conduct meetings with internal, external, and state stakeholders.

• Guide teammates and business areas as a Subject Matter Expert.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

• A minimum of five years of experience with a BA/BS or three years with a master's degree in analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence is preferred.

• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI, or other data visualization software is required.

• Familiarity with additional data analytic tools like SQL, Python, or R is preferred.

• Engage in, comply with, and promote compliance program objectives.

• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Remote work is not available to residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
