Senior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop scalable systems that provide RxAnte's analytical products.

• Collaborate with the Data Services leadership and fellow developers to define architectural design patterns.

• Construct and sustain high-value programs utilizing iterative, agile development methodologies and modular coding practices.

• Engage directly with clients and various teams.

• Design and maintain processes and programs centered on program design.

• Establish and uphold project-deliverable processes with an emphasis on scalability and automation.

• Modify and improve existing base code.

• Program client-deliverable projects utilizing SAS and other necessary software.

• Work collaboratively with external clients' IT teams to obtain client data, address data issues, and gain insight into their data environments.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

• Report directly to the VP of Data Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of relevant experience in a comparable development position.

• Proficient in SAS coding, including system design capabilities.

• Experience working with administrative healthcare data, such as commercial medical, hospital, and pharmacy claims, as well as Medicare or Medicaid data.

• Background in healthcare informatics or healthcare claims processing.

• Experience in designing, building, and utilizing large databases for product delivery.

• Excellent internal and external communication skills, with the capacity and willingness to engage with non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Capability to document using Atlassian or similar tools and navigate requirements gathering.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa support.

• Successful completion of a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screening is required.

• Experience with AI tools is preferred.
