Senior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive solutions that encompass user interfaces, APIs, services, integrations, and data.

• Develop features utilizing Vue 3, TypeScript, Pinia, Kendo UI for Vue, and Axios.

• Architect and develop C#/.NET Core services leveraging microservice architecture, REST APIs, and asynchronous integrations.

• Design and enhance data access for Microsoft SQL Server, including complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization.

• Enhance system reliability, scalability, security, performance, and observability while managing technical debt.

• Containerize services using Docker and assist with deployments in Kubernetes environments.

• Troubleshoot high-priority production issues, determine root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support dependable delivery and production operations.

• Adhere to security and data-handling best practices in alignment with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS standards.

• Engage in technical design discussions and participate in code reviews.

• Mentor less-experienced developers through code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, QA, developers, and client stakeholders.

• Convey technical recommendations, trade-offs, dependencies, estimates, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience, with substantial ownership of production full-stack applications.

• More than 5 years of experience in C#/.NET Core development.

• At least 5 years of experience in building production applications using Vue.js, preferably Vue 3 and the Composition API.

• A minimum of 3 years of production experience with TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with microservice architecture, REST API design, asynchronous processing, messaging, and event-driven integrations.

• Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server, including data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting production performance issues.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS.

• Familiarity with developing or supporting eCommerce functionalities such as carts, checkout processes, orders, catalogs, discounts, or returns.

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to independently manage complex technical tasks.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently across both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience with multilingual applications, encompassing internationalization and localization.

• Background in the direct selling industry.

• Awareness of AI-assisted development tools.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be accepted.
