Senior Developer, Adobe Commerce Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, customize, and sustain scalable frontend applications using Adobe Commerce/Magento.

• Create and maintain Magento themes, layouts, templates, UI components, and responsive user experiences.

• Develop contemporary storefront experiences utilizing React.js and Next.js.

• Integrate frontend applications with commerce platforms, APIs, and backend services.

• Contribute to middleware, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services, headless commerce, and composable commerce integrations.

• Employ JavaScript, HTML, CSS, LESS, and KnockoutJS for building and sustaining frontend applications.

• Utilize Claude and Claude Code for code generation, debugging, refactoring, test creation, technical exploration, documentation, and solution investigation.

• Review, test, debug, validate, and secure AI-generated code prior to deployment in production.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide scalable and reliable commerce solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

• Extensive hands-on experience in Magento UI / Adobe Commerce frontend development; expertise in Magento UI is essential.

• Proficient JavaScript development skills.

• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, including LESS.

• Solid experience with KnockoutJS.

• Knowledge of frontend architecture, responsive design, and UI customization.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully with engineering teams.

• Proven employment stability and a consistent professional history.

• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools and validating generated code.

• Experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, EDS, Adobe Commerce SaaS, headless and composable commerce, middleware / BFF development, Claude and Claude Code are advantageous.
