📋 Description

• Conceptualize both seasonal and timeless products in the categories of baby, children, nursery, and lifestyle soft goods.

• Define the color, material, texture, print, and trim directions for the brand.

• Create tech packs, specifications, bill of materials (BOMs), and construction details that transform ideas into market-ready products.

• Engage directly with fabrics, trims, and finishes.

• Collaborate closely with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.

• Achieve a balance between aesthetics, quality, cost, and manufacturability.

• Contribute to the development of completely new product categories.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in designing and developing products within the baby, children's, apparel, home textiles, or soft goods sectors.

• A portfolio that showcases both commercial insight and aesthetic appeal.

• Strong expertise in textiles, product construction, tech packs, and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.

• Experience collaborating directly with both domestic and international suppliers.

• A unique ability to maintain a big-picture perspective while paying meticulous attention to the smallest construction details.

• Additional consideration for candidates with experience in premium baby or children's brands, baby gifting, blankets/sleepwear/plush/nursery textiles, home textiles, direct-to-consumer (DTC) and national retail product development, or children's product safety and compliance.
