Senior Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as an expert in equipment systems, providing essential support to the field sales team to accurately specify, install, and operate equipment systems.

• Conduct on-site assessments, design, and installation of feed equipment at customer locations.

• Oversee Equipment Project Requests within product line areas, ensuring that all projects receive proper approval.

• Manage the capital asset pool for field equipment to reduce idle assets, which includes tracking of capital assets.

• Provide design recommendations while ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies.

• Assist the field sales team in navigating the equipment acquisition process, which includes providing equipment manuals and specifications.

• Maintain a product line of equipment available for customer sales.

• Support the vendor qualification process for outsourced construction projects.

• Facilitate the design and enhancement of equipment systems to improve product offerings and support product launches.

• Deliver technology transfer through training and the dissemination of technical information.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related technical field.

• Over 5 years of experience in the industry.

• Proven experience in managing complex projects.

• Strong skills in relationship management.

• Ability to learn new concepts and technologies and apply them effectively.

• Capable of working independently and providing direction/coaching to both direct and indirect reports.

• Experience collaborating across multiple levels within an organization to achieve desired outcomes.

• Documented success in solving complex and non-routine technical challenges.
