Senior Desarrollador Backend – Node.js, Nest.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using NodeJS and frameworks such as Express, Fastify, and/or NestJS.

• Apply design patterns and principles like Domain Driven Design (DDD), Event Sourcing, and CQRS.

• Create and implement integrations and asynchronous processes using RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and/or Google Pub/Sub.

• Model, query, and optimize data persistence using MongoDB and Redis.

• Deploy and manage services on AWS and/or GCP using containers and Kubernetes.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD.

• Manage source code with Git, participate in code reviews, and promote technical standards.

• Analyze incidents, technical debt, and improvement opportunities to optimize performance, stability, and evolution of the platforms.

• Engage in technical decision-making and actively collaborate with the engineering squad.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience developing with NodeJS (mandatory).

• Experience with backend frameworks such as Express, Fastify, and/or NestJS (mandatory).

• Knowledge and experience working with MongoDB and Redis databases.

• Experience in Cloud Computing with AWS and/or GCP, particularly with container services and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Knowledge and application of design patterns and architecture: Domain Driven Design (DDD), Event Sourcing, and CQRS.

• Experience with messaging systems and queues: RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and/or Google Pub/Sub.

• Proficient in Git and best practices for version control.

• Experience in automating development processes and CI/CD with Jenkins and/or ArgoCD.

• Sufficient seniority to work autonomously, participate in technical decisions, and actively collaborate with the squad.

• Desirable: knowledge of implementing serverless architectures or services.
