This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Responsible for global demand planning and forecasting, with direct accountability for US demand planning.
• Oversee and execute the monthly regional demand planning cycle, which includes data preparation, statistical forecasting, and cross-functional reviews.
• Manage the 24-month forecast horizon for designated regions, business units, or product families.
• Incorporate market insights such as seasonality, regulatory changes, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics into the demand plan.
• Evaluate forecast accuracy, bias, and variability; implement corrective measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain demand plans at the SKU, customer, channel, and regional levels, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Provide essential inputs to inventory management and optimization strategies, aiding in allocation and deployment decisions as necessary.
• Lead Business Unit Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings and facilitate reconciliation processes.
• Communicate demand risks, opportunities, and drivers to Supply, Finance, and Executive stakeholders.
• Ensure demand plans align with revenue targets, inventory strategies, and capacity constraints.
• Assist in scenario planning, demand shaping activities, and the creation of long-range outlooks.
• Act as the subject-matter expert for global, regional, or portfolio-specific demand drivers.
• Build strong relationships with regional commercial teams to identify early demand signals.
• Enhance data quality and visibility by utilizing advanced statistical tools and analytics platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of demand planners or analysts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, IBP/S&OP, or supply chain management; experience in a global or complex environment is preferred.
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Analytics is preferred.
• Experience within the medical device, healthcare technology, or regulated manufacturing sectors.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proven expertise in statistical modeling and forecasting tools.
• Proficient in planning concepts and visualization systems (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI).
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
